A powerful, interactive theatre experience celebrating the life and legacy of Eloise Edwards and the collective history of Black communities in Britain.
The Play
A vibrant and moving performance that tells the story of Eloise Edwards — community activist, artist, and founder of the Roots Community. The play honours the resilience, creativity, and contributions of Eloise people in shaping the lives of so many people in Manchester. The interactive workshop invites participants to reflect on representation, identity, and community empowerment, and to explore how collective history can inspire change today.
