About us

At Odd Arts, we use the power of theatre to challenge inequalities and create opportunities for individuals facing the greatest levels of discrimination and disadvantage.

Our work delivers projects that increase wellbeing and cohesion, and we also deliver training in the skills and techniques that enable us to achieve our impact. We are dedicated to overcoming social injustices and fostering positive change through theatre.

Community led creative programmes

At Odd Arts, our theatre isn’t just about performing a play, it’s about creating tangible, lasting change with the people who are affected by the issues we are addressing.  The organisation was founded on the work of Augusto Boal’s Theatre of the Oppressed.  We aim to empower individuals and communities by using the arts to engage, challenge, and inspire change.
