(Exploring Islamophobia)
A powerful, interactive theatre experience exploring Islamophobia, its roots, realities, and impact on individuals and communities. The work was co-developed in partnership with diverse Muslim communities across Manchester.
The Play
A hard-hitting performance following three college students whose friendship is tested by bias, misinformation, and prejudice. The play reveals both overt and subtle forms of Islamophobia — from microaggressions and exclusion to media stereotypes and systemic discrimination. Participants are invited to intervene through interactive forum theatre to challenge harmful assumptions, explore allyship, and practise responding to real-world situations.
