Nathan

Nathan is a director and practitioner from Manchester, based in London. He has led specialist lyricism projects in prisons with ODD Arts since 2015, developing his unique approach alongside ODD colleagues and evolving practices within ODD itself, integrating therapeutic frameworks with creative lyrical writing and performance. He has directed work for Liverpool Everyman, Royal and Derngate Northampton, Southbank Centre, Orange Tree and LAMDA. He has led lyricism projects for National Theatre, LAMDA, National Youth Theatre, Barbican, Donmar Warehouse, English Touring Opera. He trained at LAMDA, National Theatre and Royal Ballet and Opera. He is Co-Director for immersive company Hydrocracker and a Trustee for Graeae. He is a Deutsche Bank Award Winner and Runner Up for the JMK Award and RTST Award.  nathancrossan-smith.com
