We Are Odd Arts
Odd Arts deliver issue based creative programmes with vulnerable and excluded groups. All our projects use specialist applied theatre and creative arts to address and explore contentious and challenging issues.
Odd Arts is specialist in theatre programmes for prisons, secure units and other criminal justice settings. We deliver weekly sessions in various secure provision and have over 15 years experience working in prisons.
We deliver a wide range of one-off workshops which aim to raise awareness of issues most relevant to the partners we are working with. These workshops are often delivered in schools, colleges or as part of education training and staff development.
Odd Arts community projects respond to the interests, talents and needs of particular communities. These projects are underpinned by theatre, but often other mediums including film, photography, music and creative writing.
Odd Arts is specialist in delivering work around mental health. We work in partnership with mental health teams and clinical commissioning groups to deliver mental health programmes.
